The process is simple:
- Tell us what you’d like. Send examples of similar fonts and what you like/don’t like about them. What languages do you need to support? Special characters? What software will you be using to test the fonts?
- After discussion, we’ll send a few test characters. No payment is required for this.
- After testing, let us know what you’d like changed. We’ll send updates of the test characters. Again: no payment is required for this.
- Once you’re happy with the test characters, we can give you a quote for completion.
- After the project is complete, it may be released as a Typodermic font. We won’t release it as a freeware font so it’s unlikely that you font will be overexposed. Only serious font geeks will recognize it as a Typodermic font.
exclusive custom fonts
It is possible to have a certain time period of exclusivity but we don’t make perpetually exclusive fonts. However, you can request exclusivity for fonts modified by Ascender Corp. It depends on the specific situation but it is possible.
