Desperate is a punk, post-punk, new wave, Reagan-punk font.

Desperate is a punk, post-punk, new wave, Reagan-punk font. It is ideally suited for products intended to be used by the elderly.
Mitigate: a new, narrow monospaced clack clack clack

Mitigate is a sans-serif, condensed typewriter font family. In addition to a range of clean weights, the Mitigate Family includes two distressed styles: Mitigate Typewriter with ligatures for common letter sequences. The ligatures help create a “real typewriter” effect in OpenType savvy applications.

Catwing: a sort-of-typewriter script

Although Catwing has a typewritten feel, it's actually proportionally spaced. Unlike most scripts, you're encouraged to break the rules and type in CAPITALS. Oh dear, really? Yes! Catwing Fuzz is, as its name would suggest, somewhat fuzzy. OpenType savvy applications will shuffle letters to create a more random looking fuzz effect. So what's the point? Catwing gives you a warm, typewriter script feeling without the disadvanatges or working with a monospaced font. It was designed for use in subtitles and, as far as scripts go, it's very readable and even suitable for body copy.

Ray Larabie Interview

A decade ago, he was the prince of free fonts. Today, his Typodermic foundry is one of MyFonts’ most successful type libraries, although hundreds of his freeware fonts are still out there. His output is awe-inspiring, his tastes as diverse as can be, and his sense of style spot-on. His tool of choice is the computer. Don’t look for pencil sketches or brush-drawn alphabets in this newsletter; it was all done on the screen — with a trackball. Meet Ray Larabie, a Canadian in Nagoya, Japan.

Walken tells yo what to do.

Walken is a sure-footed slab serif font family. A stencil font, you ask? Sometimes . . . maybe . . . maybe you should stop asking so many questions.
