Inspired by Goudy’s original from 1905, Biondi maintains the classic wide and squarish shape that made Copperplate Gothic a design staple and moves it forward to the 21st Century. Biondi’s contemporary features:
- Beefed-up “wedgelike” serifs replace the “hairline” serifs which makes Biondi stand up to today’s low resolution advertising environment.
- Selective placement of serifs creates a cleaner-flowing line of text without sacrificing its understated seriousness.
Biondi is available in two weights; light and regular. Biondi is versatile; well-suited to stationery and letterheads and is attractive at larger sizes for headlines and signage; ideal for video, DVD or film titles and large displays.
